GENERAL RULE:
ChicProClean provides all cleaning supplies to all clients. We come to each job equipped in vacuums, mop buckets, tools and brushes, cleaning chemicals, etc. Typically every regular client is provided with microfiber cleaning cloths that stay in every client's house for us to use. Some of the regular clients didn't approve of that policy and that is reflected in the job notes.
THERE ARE COUPLE CATEGORIES OF CLEANING SUPPLIES:
1. CLEANING CHEMICALS
2. CLEANING TOOLS
3. CLEANING EQUIPMENT
4. OTHER
For the most part CPC uses non-toxic, pet and people friendly cleaning chemicals that are non harsh for surfaces. Sometimes on a very rare occasions we need to use some stronger chemicals, but it is only when specified in the notes, not for every day use. Below you can find a list of cleaning chemicals that we always have in our cleaning caddy for everyday use.
SAFETY: When working with any type of chemicals- toxic or non toxic, remember that those are still chemicals and can cause health problems. Always use protective PPE when working with chemicals: gloves, googles when needed, masks. Never mix bleach with ammonia (this can cause severe lung damage or even death). Do not inhale any of the cleaning chemicals. Make sure rooms are ventilated (open the window in the bathrooms when cleaning, etc., read labels and know where and how to use each cleaning chemical.

ChicProClean's best friend is DAWN Dish Soap. We love it!
We literally use it on almost anything! It is all in one solution, and safe, to clean surfaces and get the job done.
We typically mix couple drops of dish soap with water in our ZEP Bottle and we use it as:
- all purpose cleaner
- kitchen: stove, fridge, counters, microwaves, backsplash, small appliances
- bathroom (tubs, showers, toilet, including inside, mirrors)
- floors (couple drops in the mop bucket)
- windows, glass and mirrors
- and more!
To use: Deep Cleans, Move IN/OUT, Regular Maintenance, Office. All jobs.
Bar's Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser is another great product we use every day. It is perfect for more heavy duty approach when dish soap might not do it's work. Great for stainless steel sinks to remove hard water spots.
Great for:
- stainless steel kitchen sinks
- deep cleaning toilets
- deep cleaning tubs, showers, sinks in the bathroom, hard water spots on glass shower doors.
Don't use on stone countertops (granite, quartz), or kitchen appliances.
To use: mostly on first time Deep Cleans, Move Out/Ins, but also maintenance for more heavy duty cleaning of showers, all stainless kitchen sinks.

Spray Away Stainless Steel Cleaner (Oil Based)
We have tested all stainless steel cleaners and polishers. This one is the best.
Always wipe down stainless steel appliances with soap and water to remove grease and dirty spots. Pay attention to all the edges and handles- food gets stuck in there. Use stainless steel cleaner to polish when needed. Sometimes sap and water solution is enough to give it a great shine!
Great for:
- stainless steel appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves)
- small stainless steel appliances (toasters, mini ovens, stainless coffee makers)
- in the bathrooms- to polish faucets- this is a rare use, not recommended since this is oil based chemical it leaves residue.
Don't overspray! Only small amount needed. Spray on the cloth never on the appliance. Wipe down the floor by the appliances immediately after use- FLOOR IS DANGEROUSLY SLIPPERY.
Don't use on anything that is not stainless steel. Always polish with the grid.
